Omens combines the powerful and moving sounds of Siobhán's Celtic ancestry with strong lyrics and ethereal vocal productions. Also notable in the arrangements are hints of her early musical experience singing in the church choir. "My lyrics are about my spiritual beliefs. An omen is a powerful image which foreshadows something unusual happening," says Siobhán of the title track. The songs are a blend of the modern with fantasy and wizardry; images of fairy tales, magic and serendipity.
